The practice of Kundalini Yoga, teaches that the vibratory frequency of a mother is directly responsible for the type of soul she will attract. Kundalini Yoga for Conscious Pregnancy is a practice that can benefit both, the mother and the baby by easing the physical discomforts of pregnancy, balancing different emotions, reducing stress and increasing awareness. In this practice, you will learn techniques to prepare you for birth at all levels: mental, physical and emotional as well. Conscious pregnancy practices provide a strong foundation while helping you feel relaxed and focused.

Conscious pregnancy yoga is safe for most women in all phases of their pregnancy. It is definitely a beautiful addition to their current exercise regime and an excellent complement to their current yoga practice or daily walking routine. If you have never taken yoga before, Conscious pregnancy yoga is a perfect way to start! Expect gentle stretching, and conditioning of upper body muscles, hips, thighs, and gluts. You will also learn how to strengthen the pelvic floor and expand your lung capacity.
In the Conscious pregnancy yoga practice, we also enhance the ability to focus the mind through the use of meditation and chanting of mantras. Chanting is a simple practice that opens your heart center and prepares yourself for birth by opening your lungs and strengthening your diaphragm. Yoga and meditation may be the stronger offering that you can give yourself while you are expecting because it allows to actively move your body, teaches you how to breathe properly to close your eyes, meditate, and go inside where your baby is – from this you will come to know your own truth.

What is Conscious Conception
Preparing our bodies, mind, and spirit to grow a healthy human being is definitely a profound journey, and one of the most important services a woman can offer to her own family and to the world. Educating ourselves on how we can focus our energy as womb-men to call a soul. Conscious Conception integrates the spiritual, energetic, conscious, and unconscious aspects of a person. It also strengthens the nervous system, balances the hormonal system, and energies of the muscles, organs, and joints.
Vibratory Frequency of the Mother-to-be
The women’s vibratory frequency and mental attitude have a significant effect on the soul she will attract. Her radiance and also her consciousness attracts the subtle body of the incarnating soul to be blessed with the gift of human life. A woman has the ability to change her own vibratory frequency using yoga, meditation, chanting, and prayers. If a woman is living in calmness, radiance, joy and good health, this is the atmosphere in which her baby will enter the world.

The 120th Day of Pregnancy
From a yogic point of view, there is a subtle connection between the cells of the embryo and the soul that’s incarnated at the time of conception. At 120 days after conception, the soul comes to fully inhabit the body it has been granted. After this day and until the navel cord of the baby is separated from the mother, the subconscious mind of the child is formed.
The child first learns from the state of consciousness while in the womb. Everything the mother consciously experiences, including her state of mind and her relationship to the world, are all transmitted to the child as the foundation of the child’s subconscious, which is the root of their personality.
The 120th Day Celebration
This celebration is the time when the family and close friends of the pregnant women are invited to rejoice, honor the new mother and offer their loving support. Everyone gathers to meditate and chant mantras to welcome the soul. This is a special time to uplift the vibration and clear away the shadows of fears, anxieties and offer prayers for the woman’s spiritual, mental and physical well-being so that she can inspire, teach and guide her child.
The Birth Experience
The practice of Conscious Pregnancy teaches pregnant women how to prepare themselves to give birth. Her efforts to be awake and aware while giving birth sets the stage for the child to also be awake and aware. There are some breathing exercises that woman can also learn in this practice to ease labor. The journey of Conscious Conception and Pregnancy helps pregnant women set an intention for a sensitive and conscious birth, preparing themselves to experience the sacred experience of becoming a mother.
40 Day Blessings
During this time with the new born baby in hands, the mother is born. It takes a full 40-days for the process to complete. The mother needs a lot of rest, love, care and nourishing food. It is ideal to have a trusted woman/postnatal care of the mother in these days, so she can be with her baby.
This an investment in your family’s future, as the quality of those first week is a strong factor that may influence how things unfold beyond that time.
What can I expect when I arrive:
- You will be in a relaxing space with comfortable mats, cushions, and blankets.
- The session takes 90 minutes.
What to expect during the session:
- You will practice breathing exercises to soothe the mind, body, and spirit, and learn how to calm, balance and energize yourself in a little as three minutes. These exercises also prepare you for giving birth.
- In addition to breath work, each class includes a generous time for savasana (deep relaxation) to enable you to completely let go and integrate the effects of your practice.
Breathe, chant, and move with your baby in Prenatal Kundalini Yoga classes:
- This 90-minute class offer moms-to-be a safe, simple and effective yoga and meditation experience designed to strengthen, relax and help you fall in love with your rapidly changing body, all while preparing you for a conscious birthing process.
- Pregnant women in all stages of pregnancy are more than welcome to this class. No previous yoga experience is required.
- Tea and refreshments are served after the sessions.
- Important print-outs on daily meditation practices will be given as well.
